Web design :- Way for getting closer to online success

Having a website more than about starting online, but also building your online presence. It is a process of developing, designing, and arranging a set of e-files that select the structure, colors, text designs, structure, graphics, snapshot, and use of interactive characteristics deliver content to website visitors.

Web design typically refers to the user interface elements of website creation rather than the development of software. This creates the first impression and builds trust with visitors.

During ’90s Jakob Nielsen described 10 general principles for designing interactions. It is defined as "heuristics" due to the simple thumb rules and not precise guidelines for usability. Jakob Nielsen's heuristics are currently the far more-used compatibility heuristics for user experience design.

Out of 10 principles, I find that user control and freedom are the most significant principles.User frequently make mistakes and need clear emergency exits without having to gothrough an immense stages.

For example :- The Gmail 's message with undo action will explain this idea when we unintentionally delete a file.

“Every company web design system should have freedom to exit in one go and provide a user-friendly control system .”

  1. Hi Aditya, great explanation of what makes a good website. Also, you made a good point about gmail, I'm always using the undo button when I accidentally delete something! Your layout is clear and use of pics and videos makes it more interesting too!

  5. Hi Aditya - good overview of webdesign. I am a visual person so I like that you've included images and videos - helps me get to grips with more than if you'd just included text - thanks for that! It would be interesting to learn a bit about how web design fits in with your project. Perhaps you could include something on your organisation next time? Ciara
